Learn to knit with our fun beginner's knitting workshop!
When: Saturday, 8th & 15th of June | 10:30am - 12:30pm
Over 2 classes you'll learn all of the essential knitting basics whilst you knit a cosy pair of hand warmers using soft, chunky merino wool. Our classes are relaxed and fun, you will have heaps of time to ask questions and have lots of help. At the end of the workshop, you'll have the confidence to choose and knit your next beginner-friendly project.
This class is suitable for complete beginners and those needing a refresher. No prior experience is necessary.
What you'll learn:
All of the basics! How to:
- Cast on
- Knit
- Purl
- Work garter stitch, stocking stitch and ribbing
- Read a pattern
- Cast Off
- Sew a neat seam
You'll also learn about yarn ply and what size needles to choose for your yarn.
Everything you need to get started on your knitting journey is included. Soft chunky merino wool, knitting needles & pattern plus 2 x 2 hour classes.
